The comps exam allowing me to leave the grad program at OSU was last Friday. With that hurdle over, I now have far more time to concentrate on more important things like finding a job and finishing up the last pieces for this trip. I am incredibly excited about the trip, but it is very surreal. It doesn't feel like it is going to happen, it just feels like a trip someone else it taking. I am just playing with the blogging option right now for the first time and so far, no kinks - I still have not figured out how to connect my bio to the blog directly, should have it figured out here soon.
I may post something in the coming weeks, maybe not, lots to do.
Until then....

Hi Ian,
My name is Tami and your mom and I went to nursing school together at OSU. She told me about your trek and I think it's an amazing thing to do. I am looking forward to hearing all about your adventure. Be safe! If you're ever through southern Oregon, let me know. You're welcome to stay here. I live in Ashland.
